Class of 2020 UPDATE!
On Monday, March 30, 2020, Arizona Governor, Doug Ducey, and Superintendent of Public Instruction, Kathy Hoffman, announced that all public schools in Arizona will be closed through the rest of the 2019-2020 school year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes all schools and programs of the Flagstaff Unified School District.
As a result of this closure, Flagstaff Community Grad Night will not take place on Friday, May 29, 2020. We are deeply saddened by the school closures and the resulting cancellations. As each local high school determines how and when they will hold graduation, the Flagstaff Community Grad Night Committee will determine how it can best support the 2020 graduates. This might be in the form of food, prizes, or other creative ideas.
Thank you to all our wonderful sponsors for your support this year. We will be in touch to find out how you would like us to proceed with the funds you provided for this year’s Graduating Class. We as a committee and event do not exist without our community support, and we hope everyone is safe and healthy at this time.
